Serving as the Knorr-Bremse China headquarters for the Rail Vehicle Systems division since Sept. 2017, Knorr-Bremse Systems for Rail Vehicles Enterprise Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary that centrally manages sales, marketing, engineering, operations, quality, purchasing, logistic, HR, FI/CO corporate communications and after-market activities for rail vehicles of Brake System, Door System and HVAC System in the China market.

Knorr-Bremse CARS LD Vehicle Brake Disc Manufacturing (Beijing) Co. Ltd. is a joint venture launched in 2006 with the Locomotive and Cars Research Institute (LCRI), a division of the Chinese Academy of Railway Sciences (CARS). Based in Daxing, it specializes in the production of brake discs for the long distance market and is a market leader for high-performance brake discs supplied to Chinese mass transit and mainline trains.
Founded in 2006 as a joint venture between Knorr-Bremse Asia Pacific and CRRC Beijing Nankou Co.,Ltd., Knorr-Bremse Nankou Air Supply Unit (Beijing) Co. Ltd. manufactures air dryers and compressors for high-speed trains and high-performance locomotives from its 4,800 square-meter production facility located in Nankou.
